All About Us

Below you will find information on all of the family members that make up the Milwaukee Gradys.

That's me, the author.  I currently live, with the other members of the family listed on this page, in Waukesha, Wisconsin.  We have a four bedroom house in a quiet neighborhood and a small yard.  It is most tranquil.

I work at McHugh Software International, makers of the best supply chain management software in the industry.  At McHugh, I develop new software for the WM (warehouse management) sector.

For fun, I enjoy brewing beer, as you have seen on this site already.  I also enjoy watching movies, spending time with my Sega Dreamcast, and paying lots of attention to Jenny, my wife.

In the fall I belong to the Lakeland Officials Association and officiate high school football games.  I've been doing this for two years now, but my experience is limited.  If you need an official for a game in the area, feel free to contact me at the e-mail address listed on the site.

Jenny is the person that wears the pants in the family.  She is currently pregnant with our first child and is due to deliver in May.

Jenny works at Alterra, an assisted living company based in Milwaukee where she is a benefits specialist.  Jenny has worked in HR for two years now, but plans on taking a little while off after the baby comes.

For fun, Jenny likes to work out, go on walks, and read.  She also likes to watch me play Dreamcast games (yeah, right).  She also likes doing just about anything outside.

In the summer, Jenny plays softball in Okauchee.

On May 17, 2001, Ethan was introduced into the world.  He was 7 pounds 4.4 ounces and was 20 inches long.  We brought him home on Sunday, May 20, and he's been with us ever since.  Barley (the dog) isn't too impressed as she is no longer the baby.

Ethan spends most of his day eating, sleeping, or pooping his pants.  He excels at all of these.  He is also particularly good at staying awake, but only at night.

Barley is our dog.  She is a black and white rat terrier and vaguely resembles a cow.  Barley enjoys being naughty and eating, that's about it.  She also likes to greet people with lots of dog kisses, so beware if you come to visit.
